About the Brand Price Index
Our Brand Price Index ranks every major UK fuel retailer based on their average pump prices across all stations in their network. The data is sourced directly from the UK Government's CMA Open Data Scheme and updated regularly.
Average prices are calculated from all reporting stations within each brand's network. The "vs UK Avg" column shows how each brand compares to the national average for that fuel type — a negative figure (shown in green) means the brand is cheaper than average, while a positive figure (in red) indicates above-average pricing.
How to use this data
Use the league tables to identify which brands consistently offer the best value. Keep in mind that averages vary by region — a brand that's cheapest nationally may not be cheapest in your local area.
